Boating & Cruises
Boating is an excellent way of seeing the Mallorcan coast, seaside towns and beautiful beaches. You can go boating on a glass bottom boat, on a large sailing catamaran, on a speed boat or if you want more freedom and privacy at sea you can rent a boat.
Glass Bottom Boat Cruises
Cruises are available in most resorts and most of these cruises are made with a glass bottom boat, where you are able to see the underwater world without getting wet. You may spot various fish, jellyfish and underwater plants while the boat is anchored and many of these cruises stop at some beautiful beach for a swim break during the summer months of June to September.
Sailing Cruises
More relaxed cruises are available in several resorts on large catamaran sailboats which go for day cruises and from some resorts also evening cruises to go sailing and watch the sun set magnificently into the sea.
Speed Boat Rides
Those who enjoy an adrenaline rush will prefer the speed boat cruises available from many resorts. These boats relatively small, have open tops so you can feel the wind on your face and have small seats with holding bars because the boat will jump on waves at high speeds and you are very likely to want to hold on tight! This ride is not for the weak hearted.
Boat Rental in Mallorca
You can also rent a motorboat or sailboat for a day or even for the entire duration of your holiday. Boats are also available for half day and day cruises with the skipper included if you are not a boat person but wish to enjoy the sea in a more private manner and with more freedom to decide where to go.
