The resort of Paguera or Paguera lies on the Southwest coast of Mallorca on the Western side of the well known resort of Santa Ponsa. Paguera has three beaches, the main beach Playa Palmira, Playa de Torà and Playa la Romana, which is the smallest of the three. The beautiful Cala Fornells beach is also nearby, only about 1 kilometer from Paguera.

Playa de la Romana is easy to access on foot from anywhere in the resort of Paguera along the walking path that connects the beaches together. The bus lines 102 and 104 that go through the resort have bus quite close to the beach and you can also come to the beach with your own car cause there are several parking areas near the beach.

Playa de Torá is the second largest beach in Paguera located between the Hotel Beverly Playa and the main beach Playa Palmira. Playa de Torá is surrounded by a charming pine tree park with a walking boulevard which connects the beaches of the resort together. Inside the park there is a childrens playground and next to the park and beach there is a small shopping center with tourist information.
Playa de Torá is easy to access on foot from anywhere in the resort of Paguera. The bus lines 102 and 104 that go through the resort have bus stops next to the beach and you can also come to the beach with your own car cause there is free parking behind the pine tree park near the beach.

Playa Palmira is the main beach of the resort of Paguera which has a wonderfully arched coastline. The beach starts from the Hotel Mar y Pins and continues to a beautiful cliff between Playa Palmira and Playa de Torá. A nice walking path behind the beach is a great way to walk around the beach and between other beaches of Paguera. There are many pleasant
restaurants along this path right next to the Playa Palmira. In the horizon opposite to the beach there is a marvelous rocky island called Isla Malgrats.
Playa Palmira is easy to access on foot from anywhere in the resort of Paguera. The bus lines 102 and 104 that go through the resort and have bus stops next to the beach, if you come to the beach from other resorts. Playa Palmira has all the services you need and during the summer season there are lot of water sport activities available.

General information on Paguera
The main street of Paguera is called Bulevar which is a pleasant street with lots of restaurant and boutiques. The main street goes through the whole resort of Paguera following the coastline near the large beaches. The most of resorts services are located along this street. There are several taxi points and bus stops along the Bulevar. The eastern part of the street is packed with all kinds of restaurants and the mid part of the street near Playa Palmira has many boutiques selling leather, ceramics and jewelry. The overal feeling in Paguera is cozy and comfortable and the buildings in the resort are not as high as in many other resorts.

The resort of Paguera stretches about 2 kilometers along the coastline so the walking distances are reasonable for getting around the resort on foot. There is a beautiful walking path at the coastline that goes through all the beaches of the resort. You can also take a taxi from several taxi points in the resort. If you wish to visit the other resorts nearby, you can take a bus. Bus lines 102, 103 and 104 drive through the main street Bulevar and continue to the city of Palma de Mallorca. If you go to another direction, the bus number 102 takes you to the beautiful harbor of Port d'Andratx. The bus number 104 is much slower to reach Palma cause it goes through all the other resorts along the way but it is also a great way for seeing the other resorts like
Santa Ponsa,
Palma Nova and
Magaluf. The approximate waiting time for a bus is in Paguera is about 20 minutes.
Activities in Paguera
There are many water sport activities available at the large beaches of the resort. If you enjoy hiking in the nature, you can go to the hiking area that starts near Cala Fornells. There is a a beautiful hiking area around the Caló des Monjo with amazing seaviews. You can also buy a ticket for glass bottom boat cruises and enjoy the amazing views from the sea. There is a small office which is selling tickets for the cruises in the corner of Bulevar and Carrer de Tora.
Restaurants in Paguera
Paguera has an extensive selection restaurants. Especially the area of Playa de Torà near the tourist information has restaurants for every taste. If you're interested in local cuisine, restaurant Sa Finca del Bulevard is specialized in Mallorcan cuisine and restaurant Picadilli is serving Spanish food.
Shopping in Paguera
There are many small gift shops along the main street and near the beach there are shops selling beach accessories. The mid part of Bulevar near Playa Palmira has many boutiques selling leather, ceramics and jewelry. La Casa des Diant and Zeller across the street are specialized in jewelry for example. The shopping area around the tourist information has many shops that are selling shoes.

Healtcare and Doctors in Paguera
Many hotels have a doctor visit the hotel premises several times a week, but you can also go to the medical centers directly. Both doctor and pharmacy are located in the corner of Bulevar and Pins next to the Playa Palmira.
