Illetas is a resort extending around a number of lovely smaller coves with beautiful beaches and at the South end of the resort there is an interesting double sided beach peninsula. The resort is only a short drive from Palma de Mallorca making it a great place to stay if you want to combine relaxing on the beach and exploring the capital city. The resort lies on a relatively steep slope providing a beautiful setting with amazing seaviews from most of the resort, but the height differences may make this resort less suitable for those who are motorically challenged. There is also a small part of the resort that is less elevated near to the main road to Palma and Cala Mayor. At this end of the resort there is a small comercial center with a few shops, bank, pharmacy, doctor and a tourist information center.
Neighboring resorts of Portals Nous to the South and Cala Mayor to the North are both within walking distance or a few bus stops away.

Cala Oli is a golden sand beach in amazing surroundings of Illetas located right next to beach called Cala Comtessa. Cala Oli has beautiful views to almost every direction you look. Opposite to the beach there is small island with an old round tower. From the southeast part of the beach starts a narrow peninsula which is a nice place look around the bay of Palma to the neighbouring resorts of Cala Mayor and Palma Nova. The coast line that starts from the west side of the beach is covered with beautifully formed cliffs and pine trees. In addition to free parking there aren't any services available because the nearby area is closed by the secretary of defence.

There is a bus stop on the top of the hill if you are using the public transporation but then you will have to descend the steep hill on foot. The final part of the way is about 100 meters on foot along the rocky part of the beach cause you need to go around the area that is closed by the secretary of defence.

Playa de Illetas is the largest beach of the Illetas resort. It is located in the heart of the resort right next to main road of Illetas, Passeig de les Illetas with good public transportation connections.
