Playa de Palma is a large and well known resort on the Eastern side of the Bay of Palma, close to the airport. Playa de Palma is built along a long beach, which has given the resort its name, that streches from Can Pastilla to s'El Arenal.
Playa de Palma has a lots of restaurants, shops and a lively nightlife. There are plenty of sports and activities available on the beach, but Palma de Mallorca is also close with its numerous cultural attractions and the Aqualand water fun park of s'El Arenal isn't very far either.

Cala Estancia is a small beach located in urban surroundings of Can Pastilla. All the buildings and shops are right next to the beach which has an interesting urban effect on the atmosphere of the beach. At the eastern end of Cala Estancia there is a small harbor and there might be small boats parked next to the beach.
There are services like restaurants and a supermarket close to the beach across the street. The beach is easily accessed with bicycle from Palma de Mallorca and S'El Arenal. If you're staying at the resort of Playa de Palma you can walk to the beach or take a minitrain ride. Public busses have also bus stops near the beach.

Es Coll D'en Rabassa is a sand beach located between Palma de Mallorca and the resort of Playa de Palma. There are great walking and bicycle connections to the beach along the promenade called Molinar that goes all the way to the Palma de Mallorca along the beautiful coastline. If you come to the beach by car, there is a free parking at the western end of the beach. Es Coll D'en Rabassa is also known as Playa Ciutat Jardi.

Playa de Palma is almost 5 kilometers long beach that is located in the Bay of Palma. The beach starts from the harbor of Can Pastilla and reaches all the way to the resort of S'El Arenal connecting the two popular resorts into one of the biggest and most popular beaches of Mallorca.
There are lots of services like restaurants and supermarkets along the beach boulevard that goes all the way right next to the beach. The beach is easily accessed with bicycle from Palma de Mallorca. The cycle route goes along the beach next to the beach boulevard (Palma - Can Pastilla - El Arenal - Campos).

General Information on Playa de Palma
The western part of Playa de Palma that is near to Palma de Mallorca is called Can Pastilla. There is a small harbor in Can Pastilla which is surrounded by a small town with local apartments and narrow and busy streets. On the street level of these apartments there are cafes, small restaurants and interesting local boutiques. Right next to the harbor along the beach boulevard there are good seafood restaurants serving traditional Paellas and dishes made out of fresh fish.

The beach boulevard has a great view to the Bay of Palma and especially at sunset the atmosphere is really nice for an evening walk along the boulevard. Bicycle is another great way to get around the resort cause there is an excellent cycling path that goes along the beach from S'El Arenal all the way to the Palma. If you don't feel like walking or cycling, you can always take a mini train ride which operates between S'El Arenal and Can Pastilla. There are also pedal cars that you can hire for you children.
