Porto Cristo beach lies right by the center of the town of Porto Cristo on the East coast of Mallorca. The Porto Cristo harbor is right next to the beach and boats go quite close to the beach by the Southern end of the beach, so be vigilant and careful not to swim too far out into the way of boats, who may not notice a swimmer.

General Information on Porto Cristo
As the name suggests, the town of Porto Cristo is largely characterized by its port, the harbor bay that extends quite far inland. For those staying in Porto Cristo, the centrum of the resort is by the large bay which serves as the entry into the harbor. The main beach of the resort lies right by the harbor entrance and there are shops and restaurants in the proximity of the beach and there are a few bars and restaurants that are located right at the edge of the beach with woderful views over the bay.
Activities and Sights in Porto Cristo
Glass bottom boat cruises along the East coast start from the harbor, close to the main beach and the Aquabus boat is a great way to get to other places between Calas de Mallorca and Cala Ratjada on the East coast of Mallorca. In addition to these end destinations you can reach places like Cala Millor, Cala Bona, Cala Romantica, Canyamel and hidden coves that are difficult to reach by land like Cala Barques, which is featured on many postcards. Cuevas del Drach are the world famous caves with a large underground lake right next to the resort. You can buy tickets for the guided tours around the caves.
